454 cDNA sequences now availableIn an effort to increase the number of full-length cDNA sequences, a run of 5'-biased 454 FLX sequencing has been carried out on cDNA from epiphytic mycelium. The 454 reads have been assembled using Mira, resulting in 15147 contigs. 6660 of these contigs map to the genome but not to any existing EST sequences, suggesting there is considerable additional diversity within this set.
